# Login/password issues

**Error message when logging in / entering password**
The password must meet the following characteristics:
* min 10 characters
* min 1 capital letter
* min 1 digit
* min 1 special character
__Caution:__ Some special characters such as the low dash (_) are currently not recognised as special characters. So if you still get an error message, try another special character first.

**Password strip invalid**
This can mean two things:
* Password does not meet the 4 rules above
* Password creation/reset link is too old and therefore no longer works
